The Truth of "The War on Terror".

The "Terrorists" are very similar to the KKK here in America. They, like the KKK, have taken a legitimate religion and twisted things around to fit the society they want. As "infidels" we are not ever going to be tolerated in their world, much as blacks (and jews to a great extent) were considered second class citizens in the Jim Crow days. In fact, the "terrorists" want an 11th century world free of everyone not Arab. We must fight and work to teach the majority of the Arab people that we can all live and love life together. It will take many years to overcome the evil that has grown in and taken over a large part of the the Arab world, just like it did here with the KKK. I myself would love to live in peaceful times. I thought we had that back around 1990 when the Soviet Union collapsed. Unfortunately, we have a challenge that won't simply "go away"...

United we stand, divided we fall.

Islam is not a "legitimate" religion. It is not a peaceful/missunderstood religion. It is violent, it is dicriminatory, it is oppresive, it is wrong.

 

how can you say it isnt legit? wold that mean satanism, wicca, rastafarianism, buddhism arent legit??? it may not stand for the same things as christianity but it isnt very ethical to say it isnt legit...... i know a few people who practice it and they don't beleive in terrorism.........

 

Islam is a currupted religion that preaches hate and violence toward Christians, and Jews, and infedels. It's not just for extremists anymore.

I'm not a expert on Islam or religion, but I have been to the Middle East. I have met these people. They were mostly concerned about their kids and food and all the things we care about. I think the bottom 10 percent have taken over and given false hope to the rest. I think in time, we will be able to co-exist. We just have to be tough, it's what they understand most.

 

Does my name offend you? I certainly haven't attacked anyone or said anything offensive. I love my country. I can't possibly think of living anywhere else. I'm sorry if that offends you...

However, I do think this war is just. This is a politically charged section that does arouse the most interest of a newcomer. I think if you were given the chance to know me, you would find I am pretty even middle of the road. People on both ends of the political spectrum scare the hell out of me!
