I've noticed quite a few instances of people being a bit mean to Sal recently. Threatening to gang up on him at Glasto and force-feed him marmite, things like that. Why so mean?
It's not been this mean in ages though...I've not seen a post saying thank you or something like that to Sal for ages
I agree with you... That's in some ways one of the reasons why i'm only in the shadows now. And Sal does deserve a thankyou, if it wasn't for him most of us wouldn't even know each other. I know it's often in jest, but some people use joking as an excuse sometimes and it's pretty unnecessary when there is meanness behind it. sorry for ranting, but i do think people are mean on this forum sometimes. yeah..i suppose. I know what you mean (pardon the pun)..it does all seem strange if you have not been around ..i suppse a 'new crop' of people are more 'active' and such ?. mean spirited idiots like myself (for 1)..
*pukes* Wasn't Power_13's original post a joke? Easy mistake to make if not, we all know his jokes have no requirement of being funny... But really, puh-lease.... These are nothing more than affectionate jibes between friends. I know I've made a couple of pokes at Sal (and many others) but that's just the way I behave towards people I regard as friends.
