Hey guys, going on a holiday, just wonderin what the legal drinking ages are in: 1. England (I am assuming that it is pretty similar to here - Australia - but thought I would check anyway) 2. France 3. Spain Thanks guys, you are champions
http://www.scotland.gov.uk/cru/kd01/red/iapl-07.asp You may find this useful. The ages vary. I am in Portugal which is 16 but from the UK where it is 18.
I have looked around on the web and it seems to be that it is 18 in the UK, and 16 in both France and Spain, but I don't know how reliable this is, maybe its just wishful thinking haha
also, requesting general info re: nite clubs in these countries, beginning with, will I get in?....and just tell me whats good about them, whats bad etc etc.
ok england is definately 18 but you can drink in a pub at 16 i think.. france everyone drinks wine...well they do in rural france spain i dont know about but im fairly sure its a low age
Some clubs in the U.K you have to be 21 to get in but most pubs/Bars is 18 you can go in a pub at 16 if your with an adult but can't drink alchol
in spain the legal age is 18, but people drink since they are 13 lo!L u can go to a pub at 16 i guess, if they don“t ask you to show them your identity card... and u can get alcohol in shops where chinese people work. if u wanna drink ouside a pub be careful i had to pay 300 euros because me and my friends where drinking in the street.. the police came and put us a faint (that was in madrid.. it depends on the city or area u go to )
Germany is 16 for beer and wine, 18 for liquor. Switzerland, no idea. Been there often, but never drank there... sooo
