I read today in "The Cincinnati Enquirer" that there is going to be a museum dedicated to Creationism opening in SW Ohio, N Kentucky area. I'm not sure how I can say this w/o offending some people first, so I will go ahead and say sorry. What the heck is wrong w/ you people?? This is the 21st century....WE KNOW THAT IT TOOK MORE THAN 6 DAYS to create the planet...We also have HARDCORE scientific evidence to support this knowledge. I am not trying to dis Christianity, Judeaism, or any other creation- based religion as a whole. Religion is good for people....to a certain extent. I simply think that it is a SHAME that whoever these people are that invested the million$$$ into this project, wasted their money when it could have been used to ACTUALLY help PEOPLE! I mean, in these times, ALL RELIGIONS are becoming so isolated and hostile. What ever happened to "love thy neighbor", etc; I also want to comment that the "Solid Rock Church" in Monroe, Ohio has a 50 foot statue of Jesus (it cost upwards of 300,000$$). This statue is wading in a small lake........... TWO THINGS THAT THESE GUYS MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN: 1. JESUS WALKED ON (not waded in) WATER. 2. THOU SHALT NOT MAKE ANY GRAVEN IMAGES. WWJD???......I'm pretty sure he wouldn't waste his cash. sorry for the harshness, but I think that's pretty G.D. stupid!!
I bet these are the same people who are fighting to have evolution banned from being taught in schools. Hypocrites.
Yeah, like I said, Amber.....I am pretty sure that statues and insignificant museums are a waste of money, especially since parishners donated that money to a WORTHY cause. I mean, do they think that 50 foot Jesus is going to "save" anyone.....??
