Do we Misuse the Herb?

Some people believe that weed should only be used for spiritual enlightenment and that people that use it for recreation are mis-using. what are your thoughts?

great point. but do you think that people who use it often (everyday or every other day) or people that use it "just because" are mis using? (im not saying i do, i just wonder what other ppl think)

 

I dont think tis up to anyone to decide who misuses the herb. Fuck them if they hate.

 

I dont think anyone would use it for "just because"... You think thats possible? Everyone who smokes weed gets affected in one way or the other from smoking it.

As for the "Spiritual enlightenment" (lol) I just think theyre very greedy people, and do not like to share what nature brings... and if they dont like to share nature well, they really wouldnt be a spiritual person now would they

 

to me its a whole lifestyle of living, i do everything high.

 

actuly i hate people who use weed just to get "fucked up" people talking how much they smoke and all the dumb shit they do when there stoned blah blah blah and they are asshole that dont understand drugs,i think if you restect the drugs you use and you use them at the place at the right time if you respect other people when yuo on the drug its not a problem it actuly a good thing but its the morons who dont undertand things that fuck it up for everyone

 

Some people also say this about LSD, mushrooms, etc... my thoughts are that anybody can do whatever the f they want with their drugs. Granted, some modes of thinking in respect to drugs are not healthy, i.e. drugs as a coping solution is a bad idea... but hey, you get spun, have fun, fuck it, you meditate when you get high, fuck it, it's all your choice.

Hey, I think you're the asshole pal, cause every person here can use the herb the way they see fit. You talk about respect but you have none. Your lack of respect is so ridiculous that you call it 'restect.' I smoke gargantuan amounts of weed just cause it's fun and I do everything, stupid shit or not, usually while high. Respect the drugs? What in the hell does that mean?

I'd say the same thing (minus 'of living').

 

um wow ok lets see getting compelty stoned and then robbing a resturant isnt stupied, its people like that, that makes weed harder to decrimlize,drugs arnt a fucking joke, yeah get stoned drive a car just for the hell of it, i never said you couldnt smoke everyday,you know what i see people everywhere who are complet fuckups that smoke weed and then i see people who are successful and smoke weed,ok dont respect anything or anyone and see where you go in life, but if that whats gets you up in the morning have a fun time because in the end its your life not mine

 

good thread. umm i usually dont smoke for enlightment but 85 % of the time i smoke i do get some enlightenment or spiritual thing . thas wats tight about weed new stuff usually happens everytime evens if its juss a thought that lasts a second

I think recreational use is fine. However, if you are smoking to forget your problems, that would be misusing the drug.

 

There is no 'proper' use for anything.. Stuff just exists, use it for whatever the hell you want.

 

See this type of attitude is one of the largest reasons substance become illegal in the first place. Living in a society, things cannot exist as total anarchy, and thus limits must be placed on everything. The people that truly are killing there lives with drugs are not a good thing for the world, and it is those people that give drugs a bad image. The news only broadcasts the stories of drug addicted burned out failures, not the intelligent succesfull drug users. Yes to a point what you wish to do is your buisness, untill it begins affecting other people, and evertime you become a part of a statistic that robbed a bank while on any drug you are stopping legalization. Hiding from life with drugs is not good, and living your life around drugs is bad. Drugs should be used for enjoyment, and to enhance a happy mood, not to temporarily shelter you from the reality of the world.

If your living on your car on welfare and spending every dime on drugs, while your children starve to death is not ok.


Edit: Im not saying spiritual or recreational is bad or good, it can be a very good thing, but all good things do have limits. You still need to live life, and work.

 

Hell, I don't even do drugs, but seriously whose right is it to tell other people what they can or can't do, or what is proper?

 

Fuck the world. Everybody can go to hell. Society is turning me more insane by the day. And the negative drug users are not going to stop...its an endless loop with no hope.

 

Then the drugs will never become legal. Its exactly your "Fuck the world" Attitude that is causing all of the goddamn trouble. And it is your right to do what you choose untill you begin to negatively affect another. You can swing your fist, but the second you are swinging at someone with intent to harm them it is no longer acceptable.

It can be compared to anything in existance....
Eating food is fine, untill you are eating so much that you are threatening your existance by clogging arteries and shit. People need to know there are limits applied to EVERYTHING, nothing is good in extreme quantities.

Please note, im not saying smoking every day is bad, im saying smoking every day is bad when you are no longer able to do anything but sit around drugged up. If you are productive while hi... Well thats great for you! But people that can not work hi should not smoke all the time.

And underplay wtf is up with you... "Fuck the world. Everbody can go to hell." sure society has problems, but societies problems does not justify negative use of a drug.

Also if you don't like society, throw away all of the benefits it gives you, and go live naked, and alone in the woods. Please be inteligent enough to realize that society comes with many benefits, including specialized working forces, allowing technology, excess food, and free time to enjoy things like marijuana.

 

I agree with you on abusing drugs. But about that going in the woods naked comment...jesus christ nobody is that stupid. I was referring to all of the trashy crack heads that cant get there stinking smelly flesh away from the hard core drug that is ruining it for the legitimate minority. Politicians and religion is more of a problem but im tired of typing.

 

I think that everyone uses weed for their own purposes. The only way to judge misuse is to look at if mary jane is affecting your (or someone elses) life in a negative way. Anything can be bad at certain times.
