I'm just interested to see what sort of music you guys listen to while doing yoga or meditating...

Also..can anyone reccommend any good indian/hundi music?

Usually I don't have music playing while doing yoga. When I do, I try to match the tempo to the pace of my practice. For example, I may play some really mello India music with tablas and other indian instruments for a slow session or pranayama. You could check out the Mystic Radio stream to get some artists that work for that. For a faster pace, I steer clear of pop music but certain types of trance techo can work if they are not too overly programmed with cheesy drums. I really like to practice chanting with Russil Paul, but Dave Stringer and Krishna Das are good. You could visit tabla.com for some hindi related stuff. Lots of directions to go here so I'll stop.

When I feel lonely or like someone is watching me (I do yoga in a scary basement right now) I bring down a radio and listen to the local rock station. Back in the day I was given a really strange look when I told someone that. Anyways, have a wicked day!

Anything chilled out often helps me meditate... having something calm on in the background really helps me drift away i find :)

future sound of london are a good band for this
also any chilled out instrumental stuff maybe Enya etc:)
