wedding dress hemp fabric?

well, we don't know when we're getting married just yet...maybe this summer, maybe next, it all depends on money....but anyway, my stepdad's neice makes wedding dresses. I really want mine made out of hemp fabric.....I just have no clue where to find it. I don't have a credit card, so I'm a little lost for buying things online.....maybe by next year, that will have changed, so I'm open to those suggestions, too. But all in all, I'm kinda wondering what kinda stores I would go looking for this at. I can't think of any at all. I know that this fabric can get pricey, but this is about the most "extravagant" thing that I'm having.
It's just going to be a small wedding, hopefully outside, and then at the reception, we're going to rent out a camp ground and all my family are going to bring their tents and campers and stuff and we're going to camp for a weekend or so. It's going to be so much fun, and thankfully, not really expensive, either!
But yeah, if it is this year, then we have to get our butts in gear! SO, I need to know where to find this fabric! lol

I'm not sure where to find hemp at- other than online. If you're open to other ideas you might check out http://www.cassandrabromfield.com/ for ideas. She has patchwork and also tie-dye wedding dresses.

If you have a bank account with a debit card, you can use that like a credit card (as long as theres money in there...ha!) You can get fabric samples from them too.

 

Hey mama..check out hemptraders.com. They can send you out a catalog and samples! I made my wedding dress out of their jaquard hemp silk. Beautiful fabric!

About the one with the bank card thing....I didn't see anything about that in the ordering info, but I'm going to look into it some more.
I like how I can get some samples....cuz I really don't know what I'm looking for as far as texture...I have an idea in mind, but I don't know what it's called. Blah. I really like the fabric that cre uses. What kind is that?
Oh, and on the other web site that was showing dresses and stuff, I love this one...
I don't so much want silk hemp.....but yeah, kinda the kind that cre uses.....I don't know, lol.....I still need to see some samples.

That dharma-trading place sends out really nice hemp samples. I had gotten some a while back, pretty nice.

i hope that I can post some pics! we dont' have a digital cam, so I'm kinda stuck...but a bunch of my family do, so I'll see what I can do.
sadily, though, i don't think that the wedding is going to be this summer now. We found out some really bad news today and have to go and move in with my mom for a few months now. Can't really afford a wedding this year, now.
We might still get away with it, but I don't know.....

thanx. we hope everything is going to be fine....life is just tough right now. it's that feeling you have when you knwo that you've hit rock bottom and you know there's no where to go but up...sometimes it just really sucks to depend on what someone promises you and then they turn your back and you're screwed. It's a long story, but hopefully we'll get through this fine.
