SO.. I was just on the phone with my cousin and found out from her that my father is going to a major heart surgery tomorrow. Ok, I know my family and I aren't that close but geeeeez.. that's huge. They should have told me. I didn't even know my father had any heart problems to begin with. And now I dunno if I should call my mum and tell her I know and ask how she's doing coz it must be really hard for her, or should I just act like I don't know anything. Wow.. this sucks. I can't believe they didn't tell me.
ahhhww... that sucks! I dunno why you and your family aren't really close but you could just give your mom a short call, tell her you're thinking of them and that you hope everything goes well... you're the only one who can decide what to do. Allow yourself to freak out and be sad as well.. it's your dad, no matter what the bond is.. *hug* Good luck, keep us posted..
