    I don't have a humidifier. :(

But would you (or anybody) like to elaborate more on this dry air thing? :)

I used a good WAX to prevent the Body drying out. Wood does that.

Acoustic/Electric, and she's a Guild... I use a Sunrise soundhole pickup into a Twin-Reverb reissue... same system Leo Kottke uses. I was going to get a Taylor 355ce. I can't decide wether I like the Guild 12 sound or Taylors. I know someone who has a Taylor 855 for sale and they only want $1200 for it. I'm hoping to try it live when I play a bluegrass fest this October... the music scene around here really sucks, as I live in Eastern Virginia, north of the Hampton Raods/VA Beach area. I wish I lived out west around Charlottesville.

I actually had the humidifier I use given to me by the owner of a guitar shop I always buy from. It's a used Honeywell with a hygometer. He didn't need it and I always buy and trade with him all the time, so I started talking about my old humidifier that went out he just gave it to me one day when I was buying some strings.

By the way, I just realized I'm playing it in my signature.

The 12 string part looks ALOT like the one John Denver used.

Yeah, this one is basically a less fancy version of John Denver's. John Denver was most famous for using a Guild F-612... one of twelve custom built by luthier Carlo Greco for Guild. Guild's F series Jumbo 12 strings are known to be the king of all 12 strings. Guild was really the only company famous for good 12 strings until Taylor started getting famous in the 90s. I love the six string Taylor JDCMs they made in tribute to him. John Denver mostly liked Guilds and Taylors. John Greco also built custom Guild guitars for Jerry Garcia and Mark Knopfler, as well.

This one is for sale here... too rich for my blood. :D

Imagine that shit, George! YOU taught ME something about John Denver!
I never knew the brand, but I've got pics of him with it.
I preferred my Framus to all others. The body was SO well built, the Acoustics were fantastic!

Haha, never thought that could ever happened.

There were a lot of great acoustics from Japan back in the 70s and all. A lot of companies in Japan started making them better than the US was because most companies were on strike... even Martin. Then companies like Taylor started to try to shift things.
