    Fuckin marble bags!

We need to control the earth's population by not administering medical attention to third world countries. Let nature take it's course, in other words.

Overpopulation is not really the problem. Overconsumption is the actual problem. The earth could support a whole lot of people if we didn't feel the need to use everything up. People are always going on and on about how 3rd world countries need to stop having so many children. Well guess what? They use a ton less resources that the US and Europe does and we have very little population growth. We don't have as many people and we are using more. So the "developed" world and it's overconsumption is the problem, not overpopulation.

Hey antithesis, haven't heard from you lately, have you been around or have I just been unlucky?

You're right up to a point, but unfortunately it's overpopulation in the third world that's depleting the Amazon rain forest and many other forested areas in the world as people cut away at them to get their only source of fuel, firewood. Granted if the world's resources were more evenly distributed we wouldn't have a third world and the problem would be solved. I just hope we can get population growth under control before the damage to the environment becomes irrepairable.

we should release the small pox virus again...that would pear down our population :D....we could also start letting our elderly die in respectable ways, like natives did for thousands of years before organised religions scared the bejesus out of us, into making us fear death rather than revere it.

We could also accept death and sickness as a part of the cycle instead of trying to fight them all constantly...

adoption, but every man ive dated is so against it. even though i know i would be the most awesome mom in the world and i have a strong desire to have biological children i don't think it's right to bring more kids into the world untill we can feed everyone.
