    Cotton People, holding me down
cotton people, stuck in the ground
i've been happy, waiting around but
those cotton people gotta turn it around

girl in a mushroom, whirling around
stuck in a cartoon, painting the ground,
she's been happy, holding me down but
those cotton people gotta turn it around

six feet under now, holding me down
six feet under now, whirling around
but i've been happy, waiting around
those cotton people gotta dig up the ground

Ever so softly now, whirling around
high on your mushroom, i search through the clouds
waiting and dreaming of dreams that i've found
we are forever and forever we're bound.

    For Cortney x

I'm not sure if the repetition is annoying or if it works for the poem.
