and then buys a camera to document the whole thing? geez...i don't even know what to say about this whole fiasco.....
Since Wal-Mart couldn't find the key, they could have made the mother retrieve her child using the claw in the machine. .
just when you thought you couldnt find everything at wal-mart... now you can.... for only 50cents you could win yourself a baby in the new wal-mart baby claw machine....
haha I can see it now bunch of kids faces smushed up against the plexie window with a sign "walmarts new day care, 50 cents per child".
What? did everyone miss the part where the friggin kid is apparently sick and mom decides at 3:30 in the morning to go shopping? The title of this thread should be "Watch out for IDIOTIC, STUPID, WORTHLESS, MORON, NO GOOD PARENT"
That's not what I'm saying at all, but why focus just on Walmart when this has nothing to do with Walmart. Those crane machines are everywhere. The only thing I saw relevant about that story was what I posted.
Whoever makes the machines should fix them so people can't crawl in. There was a similar problem with those mineral water dispensers at stores. Kids would stick there fingers up the outlet and birds would drink from them. Some people were getting sick from the water. Eventually they put self-closing lids on them that couldn't be easily pulled up by kids and birds. It wasn't my intention to single out Wal-Mart. But corporate defenders see that name and sometimes assume so. .
These days, a parent can get in a lot of trouble by leaving their kid at home unsupervised if something goes wrong, much more than a kid getting stuck in a vending machine. .
50 cents to the walmart shopper, several hundred to the taxpayer for yet another idiotic jam requiring fire dept services. Bravo.
No need to be a smartass! I'm not a corporate defender and you did single out Wal-mart.. uhhh look at the title of the thread. I do, however, defend people/businesses of unjust accusations and BS lies which do tend to flow freely on this site for some reason.
