Damn it man! have you seen my luggage?

hey here is a query for ya. what stops someone from just taking my luggage at at the baggage claim if I don't get there in time?

i had a scare one time. i flew out to Seattle with my bike a pair of panniers (side bags). when i got to baggage claim, i got the bags fine, but my bike was no where in sight. i waited and waited but i never saw the box with my bike in it. when i started to walk to a help desk to figure out what happened, i saw an airport worker hauling the box with my bike in it to lost baggage. i would have been wicked pissed if someone took my bike.

 

lost 300$ worth of my shit when one of my bags got jacked over the Xmas confusion last year.


saw a thign ont he news about this guy who was recently sentenced because he stole peoples luggage and sold what he could. they found like 3 storage room things full of suitcases.
