All God references in this post are taken from the Bible. The Bible is a remarkable document and anyone who fails to see that has surely never studied it. Whether you agree with its words or not, the book is simply fascinating. It was written over a 1,500-year period and by many kinds of people. It has shaped the world's 3 largest religions. I would say its impact on our culture's view of evil is worth taking a look at. A close look. This post is not an argument for God's existence or non-existence. It is not a dogmatic statement. It is an examination of the topic of evil and the beliefs that surround it. The Bible discusses much about love, forgiveness and holiness. These are not the topics at hand. I taught religion / spirituality in the classroom for the Military Department over a period of 4 years. Perhaps you subscribe to teachings on the Trinity, Unitarianism, Judaism, Islam, Atheism, Agnosticism, Buddhism, Hinduism or Pluralism (to name a few). Please do not try to “attach” a belief system to me in your mind in order to find some sort of bias in my writing. This educational document is simply information that anyone can obtain. I believe it is important information to those who take evil to be a serious topic in the world. What is really written in the Bible? Warning: If you do not wish to read of the more harsh realities of Judeo-Christian scripture and theology then I strongly suggest you not proceed. Read On: http://garylenaire.atspace.com/evil.html
