okay, i was in a mad rush this morning and my hair wasnt going to be dry by the time i left, so i left conditioner in it. i didnt shampoo my hair (b/c w/ curly hair, you cant shampoo more than once a week) and i have a kids conditioner in my hair. is that bad? cause, not only does it say rinse conditionor (of course) but i heard that it breaks your cuticle of your hair and weakens it.

also, even more hair issues, i was bored this week (and i'll admit, insecure b/c my hair isnt as long as i want it) so i put relaxer in my hair to loosen the curls....twice, tuesday and wednesday (where it didnt loosen all that much) and now i have no idea what im supposed to do with my hair when its been relaxed. i mean, it doesnt look broken or dry or even loose and i kinda want to do it again, but im afraid...would it be safe to? or should i just blow dry it out and keep it away from water (the advice i was given)?

You can leave conditioner in your hair. I comb conditioner through my dry hair before I go to the shore to protect it from the sun. You can also use leave-in conditioner if you don't have a lot of time in the morning.

As for the relaxer, I'm confused-why would you need to put relaxer in your hair 3 days in a row? I though relaxers were like perms, you only need to do it once. I would say don't do it again, just blow dry it for now.

yeah I have really curly hair too; and I often just leave the conditioner in. The only thing I've found you might have to watch is maybe dandruff - the hairdresser told me that apparently leaving in conditioner all the time can give you the druff. but meh, yeah, invest in a leave in conditioner if you are going to make it a regular thing.

@graffitti soul: check Northern Sun publishing's web site.
Most witchy-poo (new age) shops will have them, or order one.
