I descended a spiral staircase to answer the front door. When I reached the bottom, I looke to my left, into the kitchen. Hazel, the maid, stood beside the refrigerator; the door was opened. I saw turkey ham and orange juice. When I opened the front door, the A Team stood there against a cosmic backdrop.:)

Your subconscious is trying to tell you you're watching too much TV.

Wow!! That sounds almost as bizarre as my dreams. You probably spend more time watching TV than I do, but that's true of most people. One thing I would consider is how these things made you feel.

Daniel – This dream and the other two below (Ninjas & the other) are in a sequence – they are very important dreams. Do you know how Dante’s great epic started: “I was halfway through my life’s passage .. .” – incidently – the Tony Soprano series very first episode is the same – likewise these dreams present you with a door the a psychic journey ahead – you are at the age which Tibetan Buddhism calls the second Between, in which you enter into the Unconscious before the arrival of the onset of old age – this is one of the most creative parts of a person’s life – Dante wrote his great Christian opus then, Tolkein his Rings trilogy, Tolstoi did his great religious writing (including his own translation of the New Testament). In this dream you “descend” the stairs of your conscious everyday life to date and return to where you entered the adult world. To the left (the right side of the brain directs the Left world – the creative Erosphere – the love, intuition sphere) is the kitchen – the creative feminine side (thus Hazel, the Anima guide, like Beatrice in Dante's jourey)– the refrigerator is a room within a room and they go deeper – cold is the yin sphere – straight ahead is the door to the Unconscious – at the door is the A Team – I would call this the Self – in Jungian terms and in Hindu understanding, the Self is the director of the Unconscious – yet the Self is the center of your conscious but lives as well in the Universe – I have had dreams and seen dreams of this figure related to the letter A – in my own dream it was “the Man from Alphaville” –(the Original Psyche) in one of my son’s childhood dreams it was “Alphaman.” These are remarkable dreams at the (second) creative turning point in your life – the Ninjas dream is a full Psyche with Temple, Self, etc. – I would like to say something about that but right now I have to go wake my kids up. These dreams at this time in your life begin a process for you as they did for Dante and Tolstoi at the same age (if you want them too) – a good book about Tolstoi’s journey is William James “The Variety of Religious Experiences.” . . . this is sometimes called a "mid-life crisis" - its not a crisis . . . its an Awakening . . .- now might be a good time to visit the old church in George by the way
