trying yoga for first time at 46?

    hey yall im thinking of trying yoga it sounds very relaxing an peacefull.soooo? could someone tell me where to start books? tape? im 46 and not real limber help?

    i think that books aren“t good to lear joga
    the best way is the way to have a joga teacher

    I think it's better to get a tape or two, learn from them for a week or two, then take a class.

    I think it is possible to start learning Yoga from books or tapes, but I would also recommend to take a class for some time.
    It is much better if there is somebody to correct your postures and can answer your questions.
    And don't worry about your age, my bf's mother started doing Yoga when she was over 50 and now she does headstand in lotus and all sorts of other difficult asanas.
    It's never too late to do something good for yourself. :)
