i have copyrighted my dots...no-one else is allowed to use them...and anyone who does must put under their post (...used with kind permission of Josie, the king of all that is good and righteous...but not in that preachy bad way)

I do that when the ellipsis occurs in the middle of a sentence ... otherwise I put them directly contiguous with the last word ... thereby removing the need for a full-stop, so that the sentence will remain syntactically correct...
