What's the theme of your doc.? I love doc! I live in Hamilton. A lot of people think it's a dirty city (Toronto people namely), but it's no worse than any other city of it's size, and especially no worse than Toronto. There are bad neighbourhoods, and the buildings are getting old and starting to crumble downtown. But Hamilton now encompices the surrounding communities, which aren't overly facinating, but beautiful in their own right. We have an abundance of waterfalls, forests and trails, we have a large steel manufacturig industry, and a gorgeous viwe from on top of the niagara escarpement overlooking the whole heart of the city on Lake Ontario, and on a clear day, you can see all the way across the lake to the CN tower in Toronto. Life is quiet and simple in Hamilton, but there are always interesting people to meet and we have a good underground music and recreational scene. Pick up a copy of 'The View' a free paper which you can find in any downtown bar or variety store, to find out what's going on. I myself work for CH news which covers the Niagara/Hamilton/Halton counties. Any assistance you need, I'd be glad to help.
