my brother and I are having a good discussion on whose version of hallelujah is better. I prefer leonard cohen's and he prefers jeff buckleys....... what do you all think????

I like jeff's dont get me wrong, but for some reason, Im partial to leonard cohens, especially the live version.

I've never heard Leonard Cohen's original but I know I'd probably prefer Jeff Buckley's cover anyways. he's like one of my favs and I really can't imagine a much better version of that song, with his voice and that gentle guitar he freakin owns that tune!

I vote for Jeff Buckley all the way. Theres just something about his voice that seems to fit that song.

I perfer Buckley's version of "Hallelujah," theres something about that song that always makes me feel strange it's like a mix of sadness and happiness.

Jeff Buckley's all the way. I think his voice capture the true spirit of that song. His version cannot be beaten.

    Jeff Buckley!

I'm usualy not too fond of covers but this one is wonderful, Jeff Buckley also did a very good "The Way Young Lovers Do" that I like better than Van Morrison's original.
