i have a friend that actually has become good friends with aesop rock, atmosphere, eyedea & abilities, and sage francis.... he's a DJ... and has met and talked with these guys quite a bit when they come to minnesota... eyedea was in winona(where im from) about 3 months ago, because my friend was able to book him... missed it though.... sage francis aitn that bad either.... i like that makeshift patriot song.. its fuckin raw

dude rap music is art man. it is a emotional way to express yourself. Man what some thse rappers spit are crazy, its poetry. just more gritty. rap music aint to "tell kids" to kill and do drugs n shit, but its the fucking lifestyle they live. If you are either poor then get rich(i.e50, 2pac) or fake ass sell outs who get to the top by knowing the right people(i.e fat joe, ja..u know the gang) they all want to have the same ultimate goal. they want the bitches fat cash piles, and guns to feel safe. but they arnt telling us to go do it. its fucking sick how they live they do wat the fuck they want and live good. every once and a while you get good rappers who are doing it for the game and not the fame. i love andre i think hes a genius smoov-e is one of my favorites rite now. tupac is the best what can i say. others that are true are 3 6 mafia, tech nine, x-raided, em ahh the game is actaully pretty sick i think hes better and more real then 50, fuckin bone thugz, mac dre, i like the roc-a-fella gang also, young gunz and wunz, hov, and kanye, oh and mike JONES has love to. ok piece
