Who was your favorite Beatle and why?

MIne was George because I loved pretty much every song more than the others, I still love all the other Beatles but I just love Only a Northern Song, Love You To, and all the other songs written by him, I still love every of the Beatles songs, just George's more

ringo is a kick ass drummer man...i liked him the most after 1965 where his drumming didn't sound so organized

i couldnt pick just one, but my "least" favorite has become john..

paul is arguably the greatest bassist in the history of music, and out of lennon/mccartney was obviously the more talented writer. george is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, and was obviously the best writer out of them all. ringo is the greatest pop drummer, and one of the greatest all-time. john was just a writer and a rhythm guitarist. :p

but since i can only pick one, ill pick the guy who made the best solo beatle stuff. not counting the 80s and beyond, which isnt fair because who knows what john wouldve done if he kept living, paul made the best music.

all you paul haters probably have no idea that paul did the most to keep the band together, and was the main creative force on their best album, Sgt. Pepper, and what would've been their second best album, Get Back.

Paul did keep them through, but he was also one of the many driving forces in the eventual break-up, well thats not entirely true, the other 3 just kinda were being dinks, and Paul had enough, and then filed the lawsuit breaking up the songwriting duo...

Paul arguable made the most successful music after the breakup, but also look what directions the other 3 took...Ringo isnt a songwriter, plain and simple, so his solo career isnt the greatest fro the start...John was Yoko's art groupie so he became more "inward looking" and put out some very "risque" material for the time...george also lost lots of listeners with his devotion to hare Krsna, even creating an entire album around his faith [Living in the Material World]

still, they all have strong and weak points, but im still picking george...hes always been my favorite...
