A mosquito does not think about right or wrong. I say yes to everything and the mosquito bites. I say no to mosquitoes and they stalk from the shadows. I say yes to being bitten and watch as one flys off filled. An abundant sea of blood watches as a bucket is drawn. What is the experience of suffering without taking things personally. Let me release the need to control what life asks of me... Bliss is selfless sharing, a nourishing of all life. Blood and breath are energy; I wake grateful for another breath. If life was not challeging it would be no challege. And if the Sun were personified would I owe it for its radiance?
Another wonderful piece from you... I like the way you take the smallest of observations and pull a larger thought from it. For some reason this brought to mind the golden ratio (1.618) and the mystery around it... a topic I love exploring The only thing I think could strengthen this is not ending with a question... a firmer statement would really click everything into place, and I think you know the answer to that question anyways That's just awesome... thanks for giving me big smiles there!
I know you're talking about more than mosquitos here, but damn! that is a great new way to look at this. Love this part. Funny, I've been pondering the merits of saying YES to the universe, and trying to do it....then along comes a beautiful poem to put things in prespective. Thanks sylvan
I loved it all but this is probably the part I needed to read. L&L~* What is the experience of suffering without taking things personally. Let me release the need to control what life asks of me... "What is the experience of suffering without taking things personally." I notice this was not a question. Cheater.
