I've actually seen alot of police officers speak out against gun control in many articles, no surprise that another one has.

 

I don't even know what to think. i only read a little bit, it was too long.

 

It's quite clear how it happened, the more important thing is, what can be done?

 

Everyone, please read this thing. It's long, yes, but it's important, this guy's making big points that should scare the shit out of you all. Don't be lazy, read it.

 

people are surprised that a southern police chief from a small town is a right wing fanatic??? not that i have a problem with 2nd amendment, i believe in it like i do the entire bill of rights. i think people should be allowed to have guns in thier homes for recreation or protection, but in the same token there are people who shouldn't have axcess to a table knife let alone a gun.

BTW i didn't read the whole thing, so could someone summerize for lazy people like myself

 

I think you missed the entire point.

 

Its a long winded rant about typical right wing crank type issues. e.g.

Yada yada NAFTA, yada yada Swarzenegger, yada yada tobacco lawsuits, oil prices, illegal immigrants, its too hard for SWAT teams to get automatic weapons... on and on...

... even a bizarre claim that the proposed anti-gay marriage amendment to the constitution is a ploy to do away with the constitution altogether and hand over power to the "communist" United Nations.

 

I did read it & yes it did scare the shit out of me. Lets hope more people will take the time to read this in it's entirety. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention.

do you know that in Switzerland every oldest male in every household is required to carry a gun.

 

Guns are for protection of any type, the law is in OUR hands according to the constitution. We control it, we put police in power to enforce it, but it is ultimately in our hands.
