i have a confession. i cannot stand anorexic people. they are lucky being so thin and they complain that they're fat practically all the time. maybe this hate is comin from a hate of 2 of my ex girlfriends. they both cheated on me then dumped me in the worse possible way. they were both anorexic and always complaining about how fat they were. it just got on my nerves. i cannot stand and cannot tolerate anorexic people

lucky to be so thin? are you serious? its a disease

you may hate to hear people complain and obsess about their weight but its not that you cant tolerate ALL anorexic people, its just your ex girlfriends. until you have walked a mile in their shoes and understand what its like i wouldnt make such a strong statement

    exactly..
It is a disease and I had a family member pass away from it.. It doesnt matter how they do look, no matter what, they will always see themselves as fat..
Its sad that you didnt even care enough to want to help them...

mmm....me thinks that if free like the wind comes back to me in 20 years and tells me that he cared for those girls like ones that he will meet in the future I could possibly believe that he might have...could someone please inform me how fourteen year olds cheat on each other apart from running round getting their friends to tell people they are dropped?

*runs and hides waiting for free like the wind to come out kicking*

it's not just about the fat... it's just a comfort thing to know they aren't eating... alot don't complain, they just don't eat

I wouldn't get on him about his age. At 14 if your boy/girlfriend is sitting with someone else at lunch, or is seen holding someone else's hand, it's cheating and it hurts.

With the anorexic issue, I have to say the hate and annoyance probably comes from the hurt free like the wind felt. Think about the fact that many girls have a serious disorder and it's so tough on them. It's not thier fault.

I know that age is something that people think doesn't matter which is why I am hiding...and peeking my head out occasionally to post!! I just figure that I know how different myself, the world and the people I have dated and date now or do whatever with are from when I was 14 and I could think not if I really tried...however I figure this is sorta important if we are getting to whether these chicks really are important to free like the wind and his ego and all that stuf... don't think so and I know it kills when you are amongst it but hindsight is a brlliant thing!!

you obviously need to either do some serious research, or talk to someone with an eating disorder first hand, because you understand nothing about it.

First of all, there is a TRUE real mental disorder called BDD, short for Body Dismorphic Disorder, which is the cause of the main reason anorexics see themselves at fat. Read up on it, you might learn a lot.

Secondly, and most importantly, being as thin as they are... they aren't lucky for that...Can't you see they're dying? They are hurting their bodies everyday. These girls [and guys] starve themselves to the point of serious bodily destruction. I'm only jealous of people that are thin because they're healthy... maybe I'm just crazy.

It's people like you that made it extremely hard for me recover from my eating disorder.

its a disease, NOT a choice.

Well, there are a lot of young girls who are anorexic, and there are a lot who aren't really, but pretend to be because its trendy. Its the latter that irritate me, they keep the people who need the help from getting it.

    THAT, I can agree with.

I knew this one girl back in high school who would come over to my house eat a huge cheeseburger, go to school the next day and gloat "OmG GuYz I dIdN't EaT iN ThReE dAyS"... it was insulting to ME, because I actually had real, serious, severe problems with it...

However, when you look at it from a different angle, I think the girls that pretend to have any kind of disorder need help too...obviously they feel socially neglected somehow if they feel the need to come up with such a horrible lie.

By the way, that same girl used to lie about other health problems...one day she came to school bawling, and when people in the class asked her what was wrong she said, "I'm dying of an ulcer!!" ....the next day she came to class and seemed fine, we all asked her how she was doing and she said, "oh um...my dr. confused me with another patient". yeah RIGHT.

i think anyone who lies about being ill, especially severely ILL is just seeking attention and yearning for someone to worry about them.

yeah i agree with bikshu, society is just a collective effort, i think being an Australian that our society despite our flaws does a pretty good job but of course there is always room for improvment!

eh, id have to agree that annorixics are pretty irritating. I used to be one. Its a completely narcissitic disease. They arent happy with their lives so they make up some fantasy in their head that once they loose weight, all their other problems will go away. In the mean time, they annoy the living crap out of everyone around them. I avoid them at all costs.
