Whether a person is heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or transsexual it's determined by a person genes. To show bigotry because a person is homosexual, bisexual or transsexual is like hating a cat for being a cat or a black, jew, or anyone else for being who they are. All sexual orientations are perfectly fine and must be treatly equally. The Catholic Church is racist for condemning homosexuals, bisexuals and transsexuals to hell. That's why all homosexuals, bisexuals and transsexuals should apostatisize from the Church. Here's a link to make it easier: apostasie.org. The Catholic is also sexist for not treating women as equals therefore all women should apostatsize from the Catholic Church as well.

This isn't a solution in my eyes. Being Catholic to me is more than just where I attend church. It's more than politics. It's my heritage, the base of my my belief system, and I'm proud to be Roman Catholic. As a Cathoqueer I think I should remain outspoken, and push even harder for reform at my parish! Luckily I'm not alone in my parish. We have a large community of queerfolk at church, and I think that's wonderful. The Roman Catholic church is a universal giant... the best way to attack is from the feet. Start with the small things... on a local level. Once things change on a local level it will spread to higher levels of the church... I think Reform works best this way!

The way i see it, most people don't hate someone if they disagree with one of their views. People wouldn't have many friends at all if they did, separating yourself from a group because of a difference of opinions is divisive, not helpful.

If, for example, black people decided to completely cut themselves off from society because they felt they were mistreated and hated, then the two groups would mistreat and hate each other even more. It would be better if, like ciaobello said, we reformed.

How can you be a gay catholic? Isn't that like being a Hindu beef-slaughterman?

Matters of faith are left up to the heart of the believer! I consider myself Gay and Catholic, and that works for ME, which is the most important thing in my life. I uphold Catholic tradition in my home and in my life because I feel I should.

How can you be a gay catholic? How can you be a gay baptist, muslim, or jew? How can you be a gay anything. My sexuality does not seperate me from the world. I have to live among straight society, and funciton! I don't think it's in anyway dangerous, or unhealthy to be involved in LIFE! It's really about knowing one's self!
    Ciao
