Hey, hope you don't mind me posting these up.. These are two pieces i've done lately, first one i did and now belongs to Jaz_Delorean, who saw it and fell in love.. and this here one, is work in progress for Graham.. i felt he needed something to brighten his room... unfortunatly it just got wrecked in a fire (his tv blew up) and i thought i'd do a picture for him and a few other things - as he lost everything he had.. i'll put a picture up when its done... they are both just under A3 in size aand painting in acrylic... whatcha thinky?
wow, if u really study the first one and look at it you can see so many things. owls eagles, crows frogs salamanders, rivers, planets, stars. Very, very nice. great color placement and composition. Haha, but lets not get too technical....it's fuckin great!!!
what bobbyellis said! i love it, you can see so many things and the colours are beautifull! do you have a site with you work on it or something?
no i don't actually *blush* i don't think i have enough yet to publish on a site.. plus.. argh shyness... its enough posting it here.. but i should really, i'd like to do some bigger pieces and things before i get a site me thinks... perhapes when i'm studying my degree and i've become a bit more confident in my skills and have created some larger pieces i shall do so... out of interest... if i were to say, have made prints of these do you think you yourself would buy prints? (a few people have said i should get them printed up as posters/perhapes even tshirts.. interesting to know if people agree'd - i never thought i'd say i'd consider selling something i did though)
I love the first one! I could stare at it for hours and not get bored, because there's so much stuff going on in it.
i really like the color themes,,, like everything just sticks together regardless of shape/object distinction.... it kinda reminds me of my own style of sticking faces with planets and stars.... the greenishes make me feel like the universe is just as alive as plants and people.... it's a nice alternative to the black ink i usally work with
*grins* Thaaank yooooooou! la la la.... i like to think my art is portraying life... whatever shape or form it comes into and how beautiful and important it is!
