moderate democrats are just like any other mainstream political party. They both grow the size of govt, pass unlawful wealth distribution programs, and basically take away the freedoms of Americans. I think libertarian ideals are the only way to save this country. Give more power back to the state and local governments. Cut the size of our bloated federal govt cut the red tape and restrictions on new business and growth. The fair tax (www.fairtax.org) is the senseable alternative to our disgusting horrible federal tax system he have today. This also take away the imbedded cost in making and selling goods, meaning more businesses would want to do business in america instead of outsourcing. This also taxes people on welfare or others who do not pay taxes, drug dealers, illegals, terrorists. all of these people will be helping to pay taxes instead of just taxing the successful, the hard working, and the land owners. republicans and democrats are mearly the same party with a few minor differences. They both ignore the constitution and both have contributed to the current situation. any economic system is going to be "unfair" to someone. I think instead of throwing money at the poverty in this country, these unlawful and unconstitutional programs, we should try to level the playing field a bit. There are many grants set up to help and programs like gerogia's HOPE scholarship, which takes lotto funds to give anyone in the state with a B a scholarship to any public college in the state. I think giving people the tools to compete in a capitalist system will be an all around better idea than the current failing system. Want a real worl example of why capitalism is good, look at the US economy as compared to each country in europe. high unemployment, struggling economies. When the govt started getting in the way of the economy, regulating and heavy taxing as well, has caused those countries to not be able to compete on a global scale. India is another example of what capitalism can do. i think it is unfair and immoral to punish the wealthy, successful, and hardworking in this country to pay for those who simply are unwilling to put forth effort. Nothing is fair, life isnt fair, but like in life you have to try and give effort. Lets use school as an example. Lets say you study you ass off and make a C, but there is a kid who made an A. Is it fair to punish the kid who did well because you didnt do well? that is similar to the way our current system works.

I, myself, don't hate republicans, but I could never understand their way of thinking....i dont agree with their priorities or ideals generally.... but it must be as important to them as our beliefs our to us... so I can't hate them. But... getting into politics with one... I'll just walk away. My father is republican and there's no making ends meet with him when it comes to that...
