Is anyone else large chested, but short? Because I have a problem finding bras that fit me right. I'm a 40 D, and none of my bras fit me right. I can't get the straps to go down far enough, and they slip down off my sholder and words can not describe how fucking ANNOYING that is. It's so much fun to have to adjust them all the time. The bra itself is perfect, it's just the straps that are the problem. My mom has this same problem. We're roughly the same size- height, weight, cup size.

My mom says I should sew them so that they fit me right, which I do, but I'd really rather just get a bra that actually fits well. And I don't do strapless bras. Is there any place I can buy one that doesn't fit me so oddly?

Places like victoria's secret will actually fit you for a bra, and help you determine what will work best for you. Sports bras are good too...I have had the same problem with bra straps, and both of these solutions have worked for me. there is also a company called Decent Exposures that makes bras in a lot of different sizes (cotton, natural bras) that may work. I've never gotten a bra from them, but I've heard good things about them. Good luck!

Yeah... the people who make bras suck. I can never find bras that fit me either. My problem is that I am a 34 DD+ . The rest of me is average sized, I just have the boobs of a giantess. I wear a lot of sports bras too, but then you get the "uniboob" look, which is fine for most things, but sometimes a girl just wants to look like she has 2 breasts.

As Sus said, there are "specialty shops" that make custom bras... but you might have to morgage your house to afford one. Last time I looked into custom bras they were about $80 a pop... but that was back in the mid 90's, so they might have gone down in price since then.

Bra shopping, heck, shopping in general just depresses me. People with cute small breasts have all these style options open to them. Dresses with skinny straps, or no straps. Tank tops, backless shirts. Cute little bras in bright colours and tiny itty-bitty staps, and one hook closers in the back.

Hope you find a solution! I feel your pain!

Decent Exposures and Bravado make not only nursing bras, but bras in many sizes. If you do a search, you will find them.

I am 5 foot, 17 years old, 120lbs, and my boobs are a 34DD, talk about reidculous. Not only do my straps fall down but my boobs are rounder then they are out so my boobs tend to fall out of the sides of my bra. Bras really are awful esspecialy bras for bigger chested people cuz they have a tendency to make your boobs look pointy, well at least for me. And not to stray from the subject but all the pretty bras are for smaller chested people, and it annoys the shit out of me.

haha oh man i couldnt agree more with you. There are girls with big breasts in the world I dont undertand why stores cant just make bras and shirts to fit them. Its almost as if we are minorities.

Right! Clothes in general don't fit! Blouses gap between buttons, t-shirts and tank tops are too short because all the "length" is used to get over the boobs! They don't make dresses to fit... I had to get a size 14 wedding dress to fit my tits, when the size 8 fit my waist!

And i am 5'6. So, I can only imagine that it's worse for you shorter ladies!

Oh! And do you ever get told you are overweight? For example, your BMI would be way off target because the machines that calculate your BMI don't take into account large breasts.

I could rant about bras and clothes makers for years!

Man I have the same problem with my jeans. Im short so I always have to sew them to fit right, or they are too long or have a weird gap on the ass. Let us know what you do. (sorry i couldnt offer advice. ) Maybe try finding sports bras, or bras at Vanity fair or something. Lets all make a fashion line for clothes that will fit people like us..hehe

I'm a 32D-I pretty much order all my bras online, cause I can never find that size in any store.

Same here... but if you go into boutique bra shops, they genrally have some, not a huge range... but some nice ones... bit pricey mind you...

and my best advice to the original poster:
Get a professional fitting, I thought I knew myt size and that bra companies just made uncomfy bras until I got a fitting... I've never looked back!

I have the same problem as another poster on here...my breasts are really round too, so they kinda poke out the sides...I hate that.

I am between a C and a D cup...C cups are too small and D cups are too big...it also doesn't seem as if D cup bras are very cute either...they look like old lady bras...YICK!

Oh yeah and I went shopping to find a bathing suit yesterday...forget about it. That's an even bigger lost cause. Talk about getting frustrated!

I don't like getting bras because it reminds me I'm too small to even need one! :(

I guess the grass is always greener, ladies.
