Floyd was made for vinyl. When I get a big enough place, all of Storm Thorgerson's cover art will be proudly displayed gallery fashion on the walls of the AV room. High maintenance as they can be, albums have always been multi-purpose media... especially the ones that open like a book. What's your favorite Floyd album and/or album cover? The genius of Pipers is way ahead of it's time and the cover of Saucerful is wa-a-a-ay psychadelic. There's just so much going on in their really early stuff.
