What's The Longest You've Gone Without Sex?

Since you first became sexually active, what's the longest you've gone without sex. Now, I'm not counting masturbation here. I'm talking about the kind of sex that involves a partner. So I'll be brave, and make my confession first. LOL. I once did not have a sexual partner for four long dark years (mostly because I was turned off by some totally bad early sexual experiences I had: Read my last "100 Men I Have Slept With" post for the full story...). So anybody think they can top that? No sex for four years? And what made you do it? I mean, why did you stop having sex? And did you miss it much?

well, I went almost 24 months when I was in the Air Force. 12 months in the middle east and 12 in Turkey.

 

I don't count in this thread; I haven't been sexually active as of yet .

 

Wow, that's a long time. I guess this sorta thing is more common than I thought? Plus there are people that actually give up sex. For spiritual reasons and such.

I had sex for the first time when I was 20. Now I'm 24 and haven't stopped yet! I don't plan to either. I enjoy it way too much

I can't top four years, but I had a dry spell of more than a year. My last experience was on 17 March.

 

I'd say about 3-4 years during the 80s, when the AIDS epidemic first started getting taken seriously in the gay community. Before then, life as a gay male during the 70s was one big nonstop party, and it didn't hurt that I was still young and cute back then. I was scared shitless, and it took a little while for the scare to be countered by genuinely useful information. Such as, WEAR YOUR RUBBERS.

(Yep, I really am an old fart -- but I'm not getting older, I'm getting better!)

 

the longest I went was 2 years, 3 months, and 9 days. If it wasn't for the magical summer of 2004, it would have been over 3 years.

 

I have not had any type of sex for over 2 years now. I just do not have any libido or any desire for sex. I'm not really even looking, seems my being so emo, and all I am just not capable of sex. Took me along time to know the difference between sex and love.

Somewhere in between the two, I am unable to maintain either sex or love or even the desire of a relationship. I most likely had more sex between 18-21 years of age than the last 10 years together. Maybe someday I will actually desire love or sex in life. I really only Masturbate like once a month as it is, and think that is just some sort of 'need' or build up over time.
