I'm looking for some free guitar lessons online. I'd like a link that teaches ska, reggea, well every kind of music. if u know any links hook me up. i'd appreciate it.
www.powertabs.net has everything you will ever need (massive archives of tablature ranging from almost all popular music imaginable to movie themes to lessons & exercises) powertabs isnt like most tab sites that usually only give chords and lyrics to the songs, most tabs will fully illustrate every note that is played by each instrument in the song the tabs you will find there will vary in quality, but most of them are extremely well done, or it will be stated otherwise in the tab's ratings you can also play any tab as a midi, edit the tabs (hence the name Power Tab Editor) or compose your own www.power-tab.net to download the Power Tab Editor
i just learned lots of chords from songs I liked, and made sure each song had new chords. ive been studying chord theory lately, and ive learned a hell of a lot in just this last week or so (about barre chord shapes, each note on the fretboard, etc etc)... you might wanna check that out while you're learning the songs. you might also wanna DL guitar pro 4 off of bearshare, that program is the bible for learning guitarists.
i have to spread the word, on a site that i have found very helpful, its called Guitarnoise.com, great articles for begginer guitar players all the way through advanced. Using some of the best songs you can learn how to play better within days. Great personaities to explain sometimes hard concepts, and lots of different info on all sorts of aspects of guitar, Check it out!! www.Guitarnoise.com
woop! this is a good thread! thanks for posting these links, very useful. and thanks to joker for starting this thread!
Guitar Pro ALSO has a website, and a DEMO version. http://www.guitarpro.com Yeah. You can even learn to read sheet music by NOTE with this program.
I agree with YOU! I did, thanks to our BUD, George. I wish I could GIVE the program in this post! That might get the site shut down. That was the best I could do to introduce Joker to the program.
