Allright, let me start by saying that I am in no way an "animal rights" kind of person, I fish regularly and eat a ton of meat. That being said, I am about to give you a link that after viewing myself made me sick to my stomach. www.bonsaikitten.com If you are easily bothered by these kind of things I suggest you dont view the website, hell I wouldnt recomend anybody seeing this.. but I guess the truth hurts. To make a long story short this website takes baby kittens and shoves them into extremely small bottles/cubes where they are crammed against the walls and unable to move. Then after a few months of being in this condition (given air and food, tube removing the waste) they are taken out and... well shaped like the bottle/cube that confined them. And to think that people are buying these and taking part in the "science" just makes me sick. much love, Matt
That site was set up as a joke. Most of the images are not that convincing. If you read through some of the text on that site, I think it is pretty obvious that they are not serious. Of course even as a joke, it is a pretty sick one. But the punch line isn't bad, the FBI ended up tracking down the MIT grad student who set it up. http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,41733,00.html .
What a marooooon! Difficult to believe that there are people out there,(and aparently in the FBI too) sooooo, gullible. Obviously a spoof, parody, tongue-in-cheek site, which apparently accomplished exactly what they set out to do. Encite moronic feedback
that may be a joke, but weird shit like that happens ... I can't remember exactly what it was but a few years ago there was something going on with mail-order tadpoles. Okay, let's mail an animal to your house, that's a grand idea! *rolls eyes*
