me neither. Furthermore, I have never listened to the Grateful Dead. Or String Cheese Incident for that matter
*raises hand* same here... first time i heard of them, a college minister was talking about his days of seeing phish concerts in the late 80s early 90s (i think...) *shrug* still don't know anything they sing
so the question remains in my head... should i bother? Im on the internet afterall... couldnt be too much work to listen to phish for my first time in my life... kinda like being able to say that ive never heard phish ever before, though.
i just listened to a 30 second clip of "army of one". It was alright, and towards the end it sounded like it was bout to bust out some crazy guitar solo but it stopped before anything cool happened... and the organ seemed too much... but than again, thats 30 seconds of it...
You probably don't care, but...before you decide whether you like phish or not you have to listen to a live show.
BLASPHEMY! Don't worry, plenty of people haven't and I'm not actually a huge fan. Jim Morrisson is indeed overrated, as are the Beatles.
how could millions of fans be wrong about such incredible bands. IF you are interested in listening to Phish, try listening to Roses are free live, stash, and marijuana.
I Never Really Liked Phish Until I Seen Them Live In 99, And Then They Pulled Me In, And Just Like Thousands Of Kids I Too Dropped Out Of Collage Quit My Job And Went On Tour, But What Am I Gonna Do Now? There Done! I Guess Its Time To Go Back To Reality But Reality Is So Over Rated!
I don't sit and listen to phish at home. When I was 16, a friend offered to take me on tour, so I went. The live shows are great. but not totally my style. Plus. the fans get a little too out of control for me. I'm sad that phish doesn't tour anymore, because now all those kids are invading other bands that I personally love. Good kids, but too much into touring and not about the music anymore. Anyway, anyone who isn't into jambads is still cool in my book.
Phish is incredible, everybody I have ever met who is into any kind of real music respects Phish, even if they aren't really into their music. Most everybody I have met who says "Phish sucks" are usually into some pretty trashy rap and whatnot.
the musicians in phish were unparalleled, especially trey. i think they hit a pinnacle for musical greatness i think that most ppl who hate phish really hate the following more than the music. phish phans have become as notorious as the band, and ppl resent that a band could have such a loyal following
heh, wow, talent is so underappreciated these days. Not liking a particular style of music is not enough to say a band sucks. They have to actually suck to suck.
I used to like phish a lot more than i do now...but they're still okay. haha i remember when you were obsessed with being him!
