If I Were A Millionaire

If I were a millionaire,
I would live in a big house,
With not one single mouse;
And pay someone to part my hair.
Oh, if only I were a millionaire.

If I were an millionaire,
I would drink expensive booze -
Until out my ears it oozed.

If I were a millionaire,
I would eat whatever I wanted,
And not flinch, nor jump back -
Not even an inch.
Because paying for it -
It would be quite easy.
The thought of buying a brand-new, car
Would not even make me queasy.
Oh, if only I were a millionaire.

Of course since I am not,
These are only silly little thoughts.
But when I am with you, money is not an issue.
It does not say, “I love you”.
But, I do - I truly do!
And although I don’t have money,
I have you, honey.
And I want you to know,
That I love you -
Truly, with all sincerity, I do.

Do you play guitar? Just add a single accord (litteral translation from Dutch, don't know the English word ) like 'A', and just start singing and find a suitable melody. Do it a million times and you'll find the best melody. Have fun!

 

yeh. with a song that repeats a line alot like that a melody in a single key would sound great.

i think you would call it a single key, not sure though, i forgot almost all i know about music
