i'm dedicating my summer to becoming bilingual....

 

I hate it when i speak english i have a weird accent... i mix spanish accent with american and english accent.. u better don´t imagine it... plus i make lots of mistakes (grammar, spelling... ) i will try to improve my English this summer ... (if I don´t improve this summer, i will give it up!! )

Hell, I have a thick Russian/ British/ Hebrew accent, but I bloody love it. As far as I'm concerned, no one else in the world has a exactly similar accent. It's special, and plus... girls say it's sexy.

you shouldnt give up .....some have great command of a language and bad accent ....y otros opuesto .....i got great accent [carribian not castillian ] but a fools comand of the language ...its not about you soundin dumb .....its about understanding and being understood

when i was a kid you herd yiddish hungarian polish greak spanish port . , being spoken on the street and in the workplace you learned peoples words and gestures , ......to only think in one form is prison .

 

by the way...Since december or so (that´s when I started to visit more sites in English and so on) sometimes thoughts come to my head in English..and I am like "what the fuck!!?? " i mean, when i write in english it is normal that i think in English, if i didnt I would have to traslate every single thing and that´s more difficult, but when i am not speaking to anybody and i am not going to write anything Í think in english...(and i am sure i think making Ebglish mistakes :S ) do u always think in your native language?

 

my friends italian....sometimes i sit there and think "so like, what totally language does he right on think in, you know?"

 

this lady i knew lived in lat am. untill she was 18....she thought in english although not loosing a grasp of sp. buy the time she was 40 and in us most of 20 yrs ....but you think phrases in su idioma aprendido early on , before you realy are talkin well.
