We are less than a month away from the SOULstice weekend of events. The Louisana Activist Network invites you to the following actions and happenings
    :
    WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2005
CORNER OF EAST BOSTON & NORTH COLUMBIA STREETS
    COVINGTON, LOUISIANA
    LAN RUSH HOUR ANTIWAR DEMONSTRATION
    5:30 pm UNTIL 7:00 pm
Join the usual suspects as we gather in front of St. John's Coffee House (the geopsychic center of Northshore resistance and site of past actions) as we remind our neighbors that our government continues in its policies of aggression and torture. This is an opportunity to warm up for SOULstice and get to know new friends before the Big Show on Saturday. Contact Buddy at 2spells@bellsouth.net for additional info.
    WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2005
    SALLY DUNN STUDIOS

Bob Smith, Ward Reilly and, hopefully, Dennis Kyne, will present a forum on DU. Among the subtopics will be the so far successful battle to pass legislation in Baton Rouge for DU testing for all Louisiana military personnel returning home from the wars. Brian Stoltz will also be on hand to favor us with acoustic selections from his most recent CD, "God, Guns and Money".
Java and good karma will be provided by our friends, Lisa and Dickey, of St. John's Coffee House http://www.stjohnscoffeehouse.com/index2.html .

i don't know about any protest, but i'll show up just to tip back a few hurricanes at Pat O'Briens, listen to some good street musicians, shoot some craps at the casino, and crawl back to the hotel.
