most of the time i think my recordings sound great on their own and with other musicians it only sounds shit if i know its not the best riff i can do which means im not too bothered about the recording
ah, i mean your voice. everyone ive played one of my recordings for say that my voice is pretty good, but i find it to be so shitty that i delete the file.
aw ok, voice wise, you always cringe at your own voice! but 9 times out of 10 it is as good as people say it is ive recorded my voice and sung live for a coupla bands and ive never pretended to have this amazing voice (personally i think its shite) but if the people like it.... dont delete any more of those files, or i'll set the dogs on ya if people say its good, its good
awesome. i think im a fairly kickass singer, getting better each day.. but when i hear myself on recordings, i want to die. everyone who hears them though say im pretty good, except that the computer makes my voice duller than it is in real life. i need a better computer/soundcard.
well i get some people saying they like my voice and some saying they dont. im pretty critical on the hitting of notes or getting tone but in terms of my actual voice, its all ive got so i try to make the best of it i guess.

Don't worry about it. When you record your voice you're hearing the frequencies everyone hears normally, the treble, but you're only used to hearing the bass. It takes a while to get used to but once you do it's fine (provided you did actually do a decent vocal take). Blessings Sebbi
i wanna hear it later, but alas, i should be doing stuff right now. When ever i hear my recordings, im actually suprised at how i played something. When im playing a song, i dont think i preformed it very well, but then when i go over it again, its just from a whole new perspective. But thats just from music without vocals....i usually dont like to hear my own voice.
Actually, when I heard my recordings I was pleasantly surprised. Except for the points where my accent makes things a bit silly, it sounds pretty good. Or at least, better than I thought.
When I first recorded myself like a few years back I hated it....because it wasn't as good and because I wasn't used to hearing it outside my head. Now I'm more used to it and it's improved....
