I'm surprised a thread on one of the most famous (and neurotic) underground cartoonists hasn't been made yet on these forums, especially given how adored Robert Crumb was by the 60s counterculture (though he being the curmudgeon he was spurned it). True, he's quite the sicko by most standards, and has been labeled a misogynist, racist, and other nasty things (and not wholly unfounded), but I still love the dude and his work, being a comics enthusiast myself. He was one of the fathers of underground comics. Anyone else into Crumb?
I love crumb's stuff. His whole family are artist. It's either his daughter or his niece in france that has some interesting stuff. http://crumbproducts.com/
