anyone ever heard of em? i have been listening to alot of them latley, and i absolutly love it! I think they would be best described as experimental folk. They can be so mellow, and so crazy at the same time. Sung tones and here comes the indian are very good albums. I also recently just bought the new ep with animal collective playing with Vashti Bunyan, which is very beautiful.
Yeah I have Sung Tongs that I reckon is good stuff, fun album. Really love Vashti Bunyan, btw did you get her original album Just Another Diamond Day, its a bit of a gem, still haven't heard any of the new stuff yet
i've been trying to get ahold of that album, but so far have been un able. Couldnt find anywhere to buy it, then tried to download it, but is stuck at 72%. I really really want to hear it. You should get the prospect hammer ep, only four songs, but four very good songs. btw, i really love that site in your sig! i have found so much new music from browsing it, you do a wonderful job at finding such wonderful music
that EP has had some very good reviews, yeah I should definitely try it. Yeah the old Vashti Bunyan album got a big reissue in the US last year, I think Devendra Banhart had a big part in getting it reissued over there from what I remember. Mines an earlier UK CD reissue from about 6 years ago that I picked up in a local independent store, Amazon is probably your best bet for a cheap CD copy of either issue. Cheers for the kind words on the site btw, don't know if I'm allowed to say this here, but we've got several album releases planned from the site over the coming month, mainly psych-folk and free-folk type stuff, okay plug over before I get into trouble
