I don't read horoscopes or look at main stream astrology (just sun signs). But the natal charts (which are very in depth) are pretty accurate for me and all my friends who have done them. With that said, it takes a lot of nerve for someone to come in to an ASTROLOGY forum and bash everyone. Come on man, go to another forum if you don't like astrology, there are plenty of other forums. But leave these folks alone, it's their choice to believe what they believe in.

(end quote) Of course it's their choice - I'm not trying to stop anyone from believing whatever retarded nonsense they want if it makes them feel better. But I don't think people should post obvious tosh on a public forum without expecting someone to come along and point it out to them! To give an analogy, it's my inalienable right to have big ginger dreadlocks, and I'd severely reprimand anyone who told me to get a haircut. However, if anyone comes up to me and tells me they think I look stupid or that I must be very dirty, I'll talk about it like an adult. That's what amuses me about this place. I've made several posts very politely asking why anyone beleives (or rather, pretends to beleive) such things, and no-one has said shit. Now, if anyone challenges me about things I do or say, I'll always defend them - otherwise, how could I live with myself? When someone isn't prepeared to defend what they do/think, then it makes me think they know how stupid it is, but do it any because it fits their self-image - "I'm a hippy, hippies look at horoscopes, therefore I must look at horoscopes". On a whole other level, the compulsion to pigeon-hole everyone in the world into little boxes so you can say things like "if you're a leo you should NEVER do x" is a very interesting phenomenon, and I dread to think what it says about the mind of the person doing it...
