Just curious if anyone had a peace sign tattoo. It would make for some sweet ink, or so I think. If I were to get one, well I'm not sure where I would put it, but on the middle of the upper chest would be cool, Kind of where a pendant from a necklace would hang. You know.... it'd be cool.

I have a tattoo of a peace sign on the back of my neck (see second page of my gallery for a photo)...the reason I got it on the back of the neck, is so it was almost like a third eye for me.

    So yeah...go for it, man!

Yeah that sounds like it would look good on the neckline! I like the Peace sign, I was thinking of getting it in my lower abdominan area but slightly to the side, just a small one.

Here is mine.. I got it 2 years ago and designed it myself... :) I'm always out in the sun as I love being outdoors so I need to get it re-touched cause it's kinda faded in some areas.

Yes, they definitely fade. Apparently, certain colors are more prone to fading than others, but all tattoos fade with time. Being in the sun can speed the process! I always use spf 45 on my tat when I'm in the sun.

Colours fade quicker than black, but black fades also over time. If your Tatooist is a decent one they should redo your fading for free.

Yeah... they start fading with time, especially if you're exposed to the sun a lot. It's not like they will completely disappear (heck, or else people who want to get their tattoos removed would just sit out in the sun LOL)... they're just not as vivid as when you 1st get them... In my case, mine is faded because I'm always outside and I never really wear sunblock... and ALSO cause when my tattoo healed up and the dead skin came off, it looked lighter in some areas than others (maybe it had something to do with the amount of ink he applied, I don't know)...

Yeah, he gave me a little card with the description of my tattoo and the date in which I got it so that I could get it retouched within a year if I wanted to, but I never did cause I was travelling too much at the time so it expired... It's been 2 years, so if I go again I'll have to pay... Oh and thanks for the compliment! Me loves me tattoo! :D LOL

that happens, for various reasons - can be from bleeding out right after the tattoo, scrubbing/rubbing it before it's healed, scabbing also pulls the ink out, or the depth of the ink when he put it on - but i wouldn't suspect that unless it looked really splotchy, and yours certainly looks like a nice job! usually my hubby would do touch ups right after it healed, maybe a couple/three weeks after the sitting - most shops will, cuz they WANT it to look good - word of mouth is the best advertising.

he did an awesome 3d peace sign - lots of colors too, of course i didn't get a pic but somewhere around here i have the flash... i'll look for it :)
