This is a strange question. A little while ago I caught a guy I know with a foot fetish trying to secretly take pictures of my feet. Could this possibly be considered as bad as trying to secretly take a picture of a girl in a bikini or take a picture of a girl changing through a window? Or would it not be as bad because feet aren't usually considered sexual? it gave me the creeps.

Two things. Firstly, just because one person doesn't find something to be of a sexual nature, that doesn't mean other people don't. So if there was something in it sexually for him then what he was doing was the same as the other things you described. Secondly if it freaks you out then it's wrong. End of.

There are lots of people who have foot fetishes. But logically, the only ones you are going to hear about are the ones who make it known to you because they want something from you, like that DG fella who keeps visiting the forums encouraging young female posters to talk about their barefooting whilst never mentioning any barefooting of his own, and never talking to male posters. But then there are other people with foot-fetishes like myself who keep it to themselves as a private and intimate thing. People don't go around asking girls openly to get their tits out, so it should be the same with feet. People like the person who took your photo is under the misapprehension that because a foot isn't the first thing that most people think of when talking about their sexual preferences that feet are fair game, but that's not true at all. I've been caught staring in the past. Actually it was rather embarassing once, I was looking down and the girl in question thought i was looking at her cleavage. But I wouldn't go secretly taking photos. It's not on.

who cares if he were looking at her clevage or whatever providing ur not glaring at them all the time, and have this huge grin on ya face, cos that would be scary.
I think anyone taking pictures of you without your consent is scary..and i consider that to be wrong.

Well, Sax_Machine, I have never lied about myself not having a foot fetish, I do admit I have one, and that I love to see a pretty girl confidently walking barefoot outdoors. On the contrary, it seems that you prefer to keep your now declared foot fetish as a secret, maybe you are ashamed of it or try to conceal it from others in order them not to think you are weird, who knows?

I wonder what's worst, a wolf that dresses like a wolf for everyone to see its true nature, or a wolf in a sheep's skin.

    Regards

Well, if you caught him, you should have asked him what's going on. He is not suppossed to take pics of you without your consent. You should give him your permission first. If it gave you creeps, if you didn't feel comfortable, just let him know in order him to stop or, at least, to kindly ask you to be his model.

    Regards

    DG

Oh I'm perfectly happy to admit that I have a foot fetish. What I don't do though is go around asking all the girls on the internet about their barefooting habits when all I want to do is think about their feet. The fact is that when I discussing barefooting with other people it's from the same point of view as them. I don't go around inflicting my fetish on everyone in what the australians would call a very sleazy manner.

I wouldn't say I were a wolf in sheep's clothing. More a wolf who's learnt to control himself out of respect for others.

If it gave you the creeps, then it was wrong.
Like many here, I also have a foot fetish, but I don't go around secretly taking pics of women's feet. It's all a matter of self control and most of us (here) seem to have that.
Hopefully this doesn't put you off of the (healthy and beautiful) barefoot lifestyle.
    Peace.

I was thinking about all of this and realized that if I caught a girl I knew secretly taking pictures of my feet I would probably just be amused. But when a guy does this to a girl it's often considered harassment. Guys have to be very cautious what they do, almost self-repressive at times, just to be socially acceptable.

I do recall, however, a project manager at a previous job who used to stare at my toes (I wore sandals or went barefoot around the office) with a big creepy grin on his face whenever I would talk to him passing in the hall. He hardly ever looked at my face, just stared down at my feet the whole time. It was so obvious. What a perv. It didn't bother me that much however- it would have been much worse if I was asked to wear shoes or something like that.

Well unfortunately that's just the way things are. If men and women were equal then they wouldn't be men and women, they'd just be interchangeable human beings and the whole process of sexual attraction would go down the pan and there'd be no reproduction. The average woman in general is more sensitive about attention paid to her than the average man. That's just what happens. That's a woman's nature and that's what you have to work with. Ok a man might be more flattered than scared if someone were staring or perving or asking strange questions, but most women wouldn't be. And if it scares them then you don't do it. End of.
