I dont know if this belongs under "the future" forum, or this one, but I gave a stab at it... and im sure this has been done 10000000 times BUT ANYWAY... does anybody ever get dreams that come true the next day? like..predictions? I swear im not psycho, let me explain: The first one I've ever had was the night before I got into a huge car accident. I had the dream in little "splices" ...it kept cutting out and flashing certain parts... i dreamt the motorcycle coming at me, and then the next flash was me in the neck brace... and the next night the same thing happened. Then I started having them more often about silly things. I dreamt that my mother had a flat tire, and the next day it happened.... Then, at times it happens not exactly the same way but ugh, how do i explain.. For example one time I had a dream that i had all these gold fish and such, and they were all jumping out of their fish bowls ...the next day I got a call from the girl I gave my beta fish to, and she said, "Oh my god, Marty scared me half to death today, he jumped out of his fish bowl like three times!" and another example is this dream I had of this butterfly that was huge, beautiful ...red, blue, and yellow [like nothing i've ever seen around here], and it was attacking me! dodging at my head and such.... the next day, I saw a butterfly that looked just like it lying in a parking lot stuck to a piece of gum; and it was crazy because i swear it that I've never seen a butterfly like that in my life. [around here, that is] There's been many more.... but it's odd. And, I don't "know" which dreams will actually come true, they just do and then, I'm just like....okay, wow. And I KNOW it's not just de ja vu, because with the gold fish dream, I was telling my mom about it before I ever received the call from my friend... Am I weird, or do any of you get this too?
I've had dreams come true before but not the next day, usually like a few weeks or so later. And it is weird b/c I will remember dreaming about what is going on around me and its an instant "WHOA!" It does kinda feel like deja vu
Hmm... I really wish there was a way to know which ones of mine are going to come true...for fucks sake, i could have avoided an accident.
Yah, so i've had these dreams myself!! I've had 4 car accidents(none were my fault). All of them i dreamt about the nite before. The 3rd accident was really cool cuz i was driving and i was just about to tell my friend about the dream when a car hit us.... just like my dream. My brother has dreams like that too. I also have "little ones" where i'll dream about my mother's tooth bothering her and the next day she'll tell me she just came back from the dentist. It would be cool to know which ones are gonna come true. I like surprises tho. I believe our charts are predetermined so if there was a way to avoid that accident, another would occur maybe different day, different place, but it would still happen!!!
i don't know but i do this all the time. i'll just be doing something unimportant and uninteresting and i'll get this odd feeling that i've been here before and i just kind of know that i dreamt it. it's trippy...
I dreamed I ran out of toothpaste, and this hot girl at school talked to me. The next day, both happened.
I had a dream several months ago concerning me having a conversation with my father regarding what I should do with the 1.6 million dollars I won in the lottery - sadly it hasn't come true yet. I most certainly have had plenty dreams that have played out in real life in a crazy de ja vu sense - its certainly pretty wild when that happens, even when it involves stubbing a toe.
lmao about the lottery... i hate dreams that involve having money...because then you wake up, and it's not true. i constantly have dreams about finding like 300 dollars in my pocket, and i wake up...check my pockets...and nada. its rather disappointing.
hippychickmommy, it freaks me out too ... and its kind of annoying when I tell people about it and they look at me as if I belong in a straight jacket.
I had a dream that my exboyfriend tried to kill me. Turns out after I broke up with him he just turned into an asshole and forced me to be his sex slave with blackmail. Should of saw that coming. I also had a dream that one of my friends told me he loved me. We ended up dating. Not next day though. I was actually still dating psycho-ex when I had that dream.

It happens to me all the time, but someone told me that i just think i dream it, but really my eyes take it in quicker than my brain comprehends, therefore resulting in something i think i have already experienced. BUT, i have written down my dreams before only to return a few days later and see that they came true... weird.
this has happend to me too,i had a dream where my cuzin and me had a coversation about the weed plant i was growin in my basement, two weeks later had the exact conversation,i had a dream,where i was in art class at school, week later all the same stuff happend in art class like it did in my dream,i have had 4 or5 other ones with minor details that come ture but nothing as big as those two
