    thank you :)

are you refering to the middle one of the third picture on my first post?

That one was done in a raku firing, with a white crackle glaze. The parts that werent glazed turned out black from the smoke. I dont believe i used engobe on any of these pieces.

Those are so beautiful. You have great talent. The two in the first picture are definitely my favorites. The blues are so nice. I like the third from left on the second picture very much, too.

thank you all very much for the kind words :)

and yes, i have done some raku firing. The white and black one in the middle of the third picture of my first post is a raku fired piece. I did one other, but i didnt quite like how it turned out. Only had the opportunity to do 2 pieces though, wish i could do more, they turn out so beautifully.

im not sure what type of clay i use, i think its called "stoneware"? im not sure...but i have used porcelain (which is a favorite of mine), and tarakada(dont know how to spell it, its a reddish clay used mostly for burnishing).

wow, I love how big the yellow pot is. It's huge. I try to go big on my pottery, but It never works for me. You must have had a lot of practice. I really admire your work. And can I ask what color blue you used on the first pot? It's absolutely beautiful.
