Im writing about those 'Extra Care Cards' or 'Super Savings Cards' (Sale price with Card).

So I think people do not realize the magnetic strip or number itself is not only giving you the discount price with it, only it is storing all sorts of things in your 'file' on the Company Computer and While saving money with a deep discount with the card your Losing alot of privacy as well.

So you know that big brother is looking over what you purchase, how you pay for the purchase. Personal information most likely forgotten that was with the Discount Card. Its spreading its way around as well where i live in USA.

So does anyone else think about the profile they could come up with in say a year on one individual who used a 'Gasoling Discount Card' a 'Pharmacy Retail Chain Card, and a Grocery store discount card when combined all put in folders by the Gov Super Computer...Down to how many square feet of toilet tissue you purchased in the previous year and meds and all sorts of stuff,

I will support those who gladly accept cash and dont report your individual status of the information collected with the cared? rx

Anywhere there is a cash register most likely there is a camera watching.

The cameras are everywhere as that goes, so if your paying with cash all that is video taped is perhaps the denomonation of the bills exchanged and the transaction itself. (and the spy cams in there restrooms, but that is another topic). Basically it if paying in cash would not know your dl number and say addy and stuff like is put on the applications for any card with the "magnetic strip".

it is the stupid "magnetic strip" that tracks you down and all over the place recording all sorts of shit. I had a Medicaid hearing to appeal the States decision of Managed Card Program and they gave me 300+ pages all from the history of my Medicaid Card. All scripts filled and where and all doctor visits and where, when, who, why all my info.

So then they start this entire EBT--thing on my food stamps where now they know what I buy or eat and where and when and how much and I hate the magnetic strip. It is the root of all evil!

Get more than one. Fill out the forms with different names, incomes, sexes ect. They don't even check. I like to mess with stores this way.

I had never even thought to do that. I may go for it, seems I was getting all sort of spam on the email and in the mail for purchased products at those stores. I think sounds cool, to mess with them on the 'Discount' Card thing.

They can collect data on an 'alias' of my choice. Then they will never know what type of Laundry Detergents and Soaps and Shampoo's and stuff. :)

  6. the camera is less reliable and would require watching, the saving card is twofold

    1. loyalty
    2. they can do more accurate sale tracking

loyalty because if you have one you're more likely to shop there

the other just tags demographics onto a product

I don't even get or use them. It ain't worth the 2 cents I save on toilet paper. The Feds don't NEED to know what brand I like!

I agree, that was my idea of the thread. Only thinking one step further than marketing and demographics,

I am wondering when ppl use those discount cards, if there are certain items that may be a 'red flag' item and automatically informs the FED's? Like I seen on a movie about Library books and tracking certain ones?

I like the sign at this store I shop it says "IN GOD WE TRUST, EVERYONE ELSE PAY IN CASH"

    PEACE RX

Heh. I found one of those "Bonus Cards" in the grocery store parking lot. I've been using it for about 3 years. It's cool, the more you buy, the more points you get towards discounts and free turkeys and stuff. I get a lot of free stuff from the person who originally had the card :p

I just can't see the 'cool' in using someone's card for 3 Years! I hope karma doesn't come up and bite you on the ass. What comes around goes around I would be keeping track of your wallet. Did you eat your turkey for thanksiving dinner?

Shush. Who said it was cool? Why put words in my mouth when you know I didn't say it?

I was unemployed at the time and living with friends. Look at all the fucks that go to planned parenthood and get a few abortions a year as a FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL paid by us the tax payers. At least i'm honest.
