Hey fellas, well i looked around and couldnt find shit for a tobacco forum, so i said hell with it and imma post here. anyways ya i jus ordered some tobacco seeds (Virginia Gold) and was wondering if anyone could give me the basics on how to grow. ive never grown before and dont know shit about it. so if anyone could please give me a lil help here??
What i wanna know is where id you get those seeds. I been wanting to grow my own tobbacco for years ! Good luck too! I heard something to the effect that they like humidity, possibly a greenhouse enviroment would be good, but im guessing from hearsay.
I've got thousands of 2nd generation cuban seeds. The seeds need light to germinate. They are VERY tiny and the seedlings are Very delicate as are the small plants. Every caterpillar around will want a bite.
Yeah and i did some reading Ya gotta start them indoors after they are a couple weeks old you can transplant them on a cloudy day, need 60- 70 frost free days to develop. i was way off about the greenhouse. they will grow in any zone. cuban second gen huh, sure would make some nice blunt wraps. Yesiree! L.O.L.
TD, they grow well under lights. One plant gives a couple oz of really good cured tobbacco. But if you grow some, you'll see why legal weed/tobbacco arguments are out in left field.
