I have pretty thin hair, when i section it, i just have light whisps of hair for each section, i could still backcomb and all that jive, but do you think that having really thin hair will impede the dreading process or do you think that it will just make super light fluffy dreads? Any idea?

they will begin very thin if your hairs anything like mine. And they wont dread instantly. I found with my hair after innitial sectioning it was best to just leave them to do what they wanted. They proceeded to un-knott themselfs and sort themselfs out.

Thin hairs a hard one because to get decent sized dreads you end up with only about 10 dreads on your head so i had to have lots of thin dreads and only now am i etting them combine.
