I love the owner of the dance studio I work for, but the Artistic Director needs to get a life and stop being a bitch...

i second that..my coworkers suck too... at least we have cubicles and i do'nt have to look at them if i don't leave my block.

 

my manager sucks ....quite taciturn and withdrawn young man .....the owner [king lear] a vain , cheap , fool .

 

do you feel sometimes like you are the only one that can load a printer when its out of paper...cause my co-workers not only dont ever load the printer when its out of paper, they also turn the light off when they leave while im still sitting in my cubicle..bitches...

 

I guess I'm lucky. I've been my own boss for almost 6 years.

Seriously though, after my kids are older and I head back into the workforce outside of my home, it's going to be a major, and I mean major, adjustment. I don't take well to others telling me what to do. Maybe I'll end up starting a business of my own so that I can still be the boss. *lol*

 

By the way, that's awesome that you work at a dance studio. I was once a dancer. I danced for nearly 10 years. *sighs* Ballet mainly. That was a long time ago. I still miss it though. My two year old daughter LOVES to dance. She's inherited my passion for it already and she's got such excellent flexibility and rhythm. I think I'll end up enrolling her in dance eventually.

 

What type of dance do you teach?

I think I would too.

The only positive that I could see out of being a stripper would be the power trip over the men. Yes, I guess the money wouldn't be too bad either, but there's still no amount that would make me do it. The only person I'm doing any dances like that for is my hubby.

 

I have an ok job. The workplace it pretty empty and I can do things I wouldn't normally do in an office, but the amount of bullshit I put up with that comes with working for an unconventional business sucks ass! My job can be cake, and it can be absolute hell.

 

My bosses arnt bad. Sometimes they have their moments... But for the most part its a good place to work...

 

my boss and co-workers are fine. but the kids..oh god the kids can be horrible, especially when they're hopped up on sugar after lunch.

 

I teach everything...ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, tahitian, hula, African, Irish Folk, Salsa, Swing...I'm even trained in belly dancing!

Chances are if you know of a type of dance, I've done it or still do it...
