Sitting here stoned at the moment, I think about all the guitarists who play on their necks/backs/heads... then I start to wonder if anyone has ever tried to play a Hammond B3 behind their back. Now that.. that's something I'd like to see. It takes a real man to play one of those biatches behind their backs.

Haaaaaah!! I've been told that playing a keyboard on your back is easy IF you cross your hands (like Mozart did in the movie Amadeus). Picture it; the fingering positions remain the same. But it sure looks damn cool, don't it? I think the most impressive thing I've seen a keyboardist do was when Keith Emerson walked around to the front of his keyboard and played it from there. Dude, that's like driving a car while sitting on the dashboard and looking backwards.
I've watched Lawrence Gowan do that too... he played, I think either the Entertainer or Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin. Afterwards, he played it doubletime. I've seen a lotta crazy shit. Billy Preston has a lot of playing tricks... I notice Booker T. Jones seems to be expressionless at times. I saw Booker T and the MGs last month at a festival here. Steve Cropper was great too... quite underrated. Canned Heat was there too.
